Callistemon salignus or 'pink tipped bottlebrush' is a very reliable upright large shrub which grows to 3m or larger on preferred sites.

Pink tipped bottle brush has attractive white or creamish flowers which contrast with the soft new pinkish tinged new foliage growth.

It is in sense unique amongst the Callistemons in this contrasting feature.

Callistemon salignus (pink tipped bottlebrush) can be used as a hedging plant and pruned to shape.

It will tolerate a wide range of soils and is moderatley frost hardy and adapaptable to both moist and dry soils.
