Leptospermum spectabile is a shrub species that is endemic to New South Wales. It grows to 2 to 3 metres high and has narrow leaves that are about 20 to 35 mm long and 3 to 5 mm wide. The flowers are various shades of red.
This species occurs over a very limited natural range in the Colo River near Sydney. First described as recently as 1989, this species appears to be adaptable
