Eucalyptus polybractea (blue mallee) is multi-stemmed small tree occuring naturally in western NSW but mainly in central Victoria,. This is an extremely hardy, drought tolerant species with wonderful aromatic foliage. Should be considered as an ornamental speciemn in dry areas
Eucalyptus polybractea leaves are used for the production of fucalyptus oil as the leaves produce a high concentration of pemium oil.
